Construction Security – We provide state of the art scaffold alarms that are easy to maintain and use, yet flexible enough to cope with keeping the intruders off your scaffolding. Our scaffold alarms are always designed and installed to suit each individual job and are always installed to the highest possible standard. If whenever needed, we can always add more detectors to your existing systems should the scaffolding develop further, your security is always our main concern. For your flexibility and convenience, we offer 2 diverse types of systems, wired or wireless.
All or detectors and Beams are specifically designed for external use, with a control panel that can be installed internally or externally depending on the Mains location. All systems are controlled by an LED keypad with an on-screen display, and these keypads can be installed internally with the panel, or it can be moved externally for only the contractors use. All of systems come with an LED back-light external siren, which will automatically light up when it gets dark to alert any intruder that the scaffolding is alarmed. All our wired alarms can be remotely monitored by the contractor or by our monitoring company, please see our Monitoring section for more information.
No power on site? No Problem. Our mains free scaffold alarms are designed to resolve all of these common problems. Our control panels and detectors are designed for external use and all have the appropriate protection against any damage. All equipment also comes with tamper protection, which will stop any intruder from interfering with the detectors. Our systems also have a built-in sounder inside the control panel, however if you would like further protection, we also offer an external siren that can be added.
Construction Security – Cactus Security offers a wide range of security lighting for scaffolding and construction sites. All of our lighting is installed to the local authority requirements for the protection of the public and workers. We have a wide selection of lighting available to suit any requirements.
Our LED lighting comes in White or Red colour, powered by a 110v transformer – Our most common and favoured solution.
Our LED spotlights are becoming a very popular option, again all powered by a 110V transformer. We offer 2 types, PIR activated, or Alarm Activated spotlights.
Our solution to no power on site, We offer a high standard battery operated light which will still give you excellent lighting coverage and ensure all safety is maintained.
In the event of an alarm activation, we can provide all the appropriate measures to ensure that the issue is dealt with as rapidly as possible. We can arrange for any means of communication to be used which best suits client requirements, whether that be by phone call or text message or both. We also provide a 24-hour monitoring company that will deal with all activations and will call all the required people that have requested to be contacted should the security system activate. We will also keep on record all activations that happens throughout the duration of the job. We can also recommend a mobile guarding company that can attend site and search for any intruders. Our 24-hour monitoring doesn’t just work for our alarm systems, but also our CCTV, we can also have your CCTV monitored and you can be notified by our monitoring station should they see any intruder on your premises.
Construction Security – CCTV and visual recognition is now a huge part of the security industry, and we have made it our priority to offer an exceptional range of CCTV products to ensure we can meet all our customers needs.
We can install top standard CCTV Cameras for you to view anywhere, whether that be at home, or abroad, all that’s needed is connection to the internet. All the cameras can be viewed via an app with secure log-in. All systems will allow you to have your system on 24-hour record, which will catch anything that happens at any time of the day or night.
An alternative for any construction site that has no access to power but yet would like to use visual recognition to catch intruders. Our Snapshot cameras have an integrated PIR detector and will record for 10 seconds once that PIR has been activated. All our Cameras can be linked to a monitoring station that can then send you the recording of any activity the camera has detected.
A Camera that can be wireless or have 110V Mains Power, this camera has all the attributes that any other camera has. This Camera allows the user to set up their cameras in any required location, and view all of their sites activity with a built in SD card, a great alternative.

Construction Security – We provide fully certified, qualified and accredited Electrical Site Setup service, including temporary and permanent; low and high voltage installations; and disconnection and re-connection of the mains.
We supply and install timber hoarding to your requirements; painted skirting, capping and soffits connected to your scaffolding or free standing. We install pedestrian doors and vehicle doors/gates complete with digit locks and fire exit push bars. Site hoardings are important to conceal and increase security on your site, as well as protecting the public from ongoing building work and hazards.
We will carry out Earth bonding to your scaffolding as to the Safety Earthing Requirements within your tender documents. We can install a new Temporary system or bond to the buildings existing system, a full earthing test will be carried out on completion of works and a full certificate will be issued with the results readings.
